Turn the whole curriculum into a working robot: decide whether to build or buy, bring up a real platform with its SDK and ROS 2, then train a policy in simulation and deploy it on hardware.

By the end of this module you will be able to:

  • Decide objectively between building custom hardware and buying a research platform
  • Bring up a Unitree G1 (or similar) with its SDK and ROS 2
  • Train a policy in Isaac Lab and deploy it sim-to-real on real hardware
